HAPPY ONE MONTH BIRTHDAY AMAYA!
It’s no joke when friends and family say that “time passes by quickly and to cherish it…” It’s been one month already and Amaya has grown so much. It seems like yesterday that we were in the hospital. This journey has been so amazing so far.
Today we took Amaya to get her one month shots. Not the most fun part and since Nisha is not a fan, I had the honors. There was a delayed response from Amaya so at first I thought she was going to be a rock star. But then the wailing began and it totally gets to you as a parent. You just have to comfort her as much as possible and move on.
Nisha got to eat sushi, finally! She was so excited as it was one of the biggest items she missed during the pregnancy. So we feasted the other afternoon and it was soo yummy.
The holidays will be filled with family and visitors from out of town. Amaya is looking forward to being bombarded with aunts, uncles and friends. Tonight we plan to celebrate with close family with a little cake for Amaya’s one month birthday!
