I caught the travel bug early. I realized quickly that seeing the world was more important to me than weekend splurges in Vegas or huge bar tabs. I save up and travel when my schedule permits. I’m very fortunate to have seen amazing cities and meet unique individuals. Many of the people I meet on my journeys, I still keep in touch with today.

Summary: family trip to see our roots. got to experience what a fourth world country is like. visited my mom’s entire family. explored my dad/grandparents roots in a very beautiful place surrounded by huge amounts of corruption.
Summary: week long adventure in Waikiki after college. Rented scooter and found private beaches along the coast. Took surfing lessons. Luau.

Summary: five college friends embark on a 3 week journey across India using planes, trains, cars and walking. various friends join at stages during trip. spent NYE in Goa. ironically my future wife is in a group of friends that a fellow traveler knows. no connection until years later. met Aditi and Geeta and still keep in touch with them years later.
Cabo San Lucas
Summary: group of college friends travel to Cabo for some fun in the sun. went deep sea fishing and caught dorado; freshly prepared that night. crazy nightlife; dancing in the rain. ATV in the desert.

Summary: after graduating from biz school and prior to starting a new business, me and a buddy decide to backpack Central and Eastern Europe. pick up another buddy along the way. stayed in hostels and met very cool people in awesome cities via train mainly. Krakow still stands to be one of my favorite little cities in the world. Crossed the Charles Bridge. Visited Auschwitz. Witnessed the Berlin Wall. Saw Anne Frank’s house and visited “coffee houses”.
FINLAND, ESTONIA, RUSSIA, LATVIA, GERMANY, SPAIN
Helsinki, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Riga, Frankfurt, Bilboa, San Sebastian, Pamplona, Barcelona
Summary: three best friends embark on a backpacking Baltic adventure. Ferry across from Helsinki to Tallinn. Camped out at a bar dedicated to Depeche Mode. Midnight bus ride into Russia. Got lost in the Hermitage Museum. Slept overnight on the floor of an airport. Ran with the Bulls. VIP room with Dennis Rodman.
Summary: three best friends visit another good friend in Montreal. Busy Formula 1 Race weekend. Drum circle. Huge cemetery. MySpace line pass.
MALAYSIA, INDIA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Summary: 20+ friends travel together to India for a friends wedding. Bollywood style wedding event. Drive thru beer run in cab. Village boredom. Visiting Manav Sadhna. Taj Mahal with cricket sports star; paparazzi. NYE in Duabi. Snowboarded indoors in the desert. Reunited with Geeta and Aditi after 7 years.
CAYMAN ISLANDS, HONDURAS, BELIZE, MEXICO

Summary: 60+ family and friends travel together on a cruise in the Western Carribean. Waverunning to stingray city in the middle of the ocean. Snuba; cross between scuba and snorkeling. Cave tubing and Ziplining in the jungle. ATV in the jungle. Great family fun running around the cruise ship. Poker every evening.
Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Rio De Janiero
Summary: a long overdue true honeymoon with Nisha. Loved BA for it’s culture and gorgeous people. Iguazu Falls so powerful and amazing. Full moon tour of the falls. Rio with a local guide with insiders guide. hanglided over the city and ocean.
Zurich, Zug, Istanbul, Bodrum
Summary: four friend from four different cities in the world fly in for a one week vacation. visited my best friend that is working out of Switzerland. Istanbul oppposite of what we anticipated; it was fabulous and not orthodox. scrumptious meals, hookahs and killer nightlife. bodrum was absolutely relaxing and charming. rented scooters to tour the coastline.
PUERTO RICO, CUBA, CANADA
San Juan, Havana, Toronto
Summary: quick business trip just outside San Juan. dinner on private island. 5 solid days in Havana before gentrification. soaked up the culture and energy of the city. pit stop in Toronto; stellar Downtown area but freeeezing.
